Having financed by the World Bank and awarded by UNOPS Project Services, an institution under the United Nations, on behalf of the Afghan Government, the Headquarters building of Customs and Revenue Administration is a reinforced concrete building comprising an indoor area of about 15.900 m2, consisting of a basement and four stories in 3 blocks joint with dilatation. Besides of a main building; 1 technical building comprising a transformer, heating center and Gen-Set; 2 units of security checkpoints, and security barriers, car-parks, roads and pedestrian walks, surrounding walls, cesspool, entire substructure, field and peripheral drainage, and landscaping are also built throughout the project.
Special offices for Ministers, Secretary Generals and top managers as well as meeting rooms, open offices, archive, library, commissary store, kindergarten and prayer rooms are also ready inside the building complex.
This project encompasses Fan-Coil central heating and cooling system, ventilation, entire electrical and mechanical installations, data system, internal and external illumination, OG, AG and transformer plant, UPS and Gen-Set constructions.
Having constructed by YP Construction, the Headquarters of Customs and Revenue Administration is amongst the outstanding buildings recently built in Kabul with aspects of environment-friendliness, high material quality and craftsmanship, and receives appreciation from Project Control Service of Afghan Government.
