Göztepe Overpass Bridge is of 126 m length with 90 m single span and steel box profile. The bridge is stayed with projection cables by a 28 m-high steel pylon. The steel body of the bridge is stayed with 4 units of galvanized special projection cables attached to the pylon of which 2 units with 40 m of length, and 2 units with 60 m of length. On the other hand, the pylon has been fixed to concrete pyramids placed at the ground with 2 units of projection cables with 29 m of length. The first ‘stay cable’ implementation in Turkey has been utilized in Izmir for this bridge, and it had become an iconic building for the city.
