WHO GOES BEYOND THE STANDARD WINS THE RACE FOR LUXURY HOUSING
While the housing perception is refreshed with branded housing projects constructed one after another, the sector encounters the threat of getting ordinary. According to sector representatives’ opinions, among the projects which become to look more like each other, the companies who are able to go beyond the standard housing line will consequentially multiply their profits.
The Turkish construction sector keeps up with the significant acceleration attained through recent years. Well-known representatives of the construction sector rank many factors in such an improvement, ranging from the prevalence of modern urbanization to well adoption of quality perception in housing, and from technological developments to the difficulties brought in by city life.
Reminding that buyers especially in large cities pay attention to the additional services provided together with projects, member of the Executive Board of YP Construction Osman Cem Çankaya declared as; “almost all of the realized new age housing projects are built over a design that gets old-fashioned. Comfortable and luxury projects constructed with high-quality materials, increasing the life standards and providing social facilities have given birth to a brand new understanding of residence. However, it is possible to claim that even these features became ordinary. Unfortunately, this may lead to an immobilization of the construction sector, and cause the producing companies to lose profits. Such a similarity in the design of consecutively constructed projects means that the sector is unable to improve itself.”
End-of-the-year objective: to double the revenue
Expressing that projects with different designs and able to raise the standards become prominent at that point, Çankaya adds the following;
“Reaching up to a certain level, the luxury housing perception resulted in satiety. This naturally increases consumer expectations. Companies to surpass such satiety and go beyond the standards of housing will succeed within the following period. As YP Construction, a company that delivers projects for about 25 years, we always gave importance to practice what is different, and touch the lives of people. Such a stance provided us a success in raising the total paid capital to an amount of 30 million TL from 100 thousand TL which was the number during when we established the company. We adopt the same understanding for Nefis Çankaya Evleri project located before the Valley of Imrahor, the future biggest recreational area of Ankara. On the other hand, we will set the bar higher with the new project Koordinat Çayyolu of which we will start the sales within a short period of time. We aim to double our revenue at the end of this year through all these projects we accomplish.”
